Early Life
Yumna Zaidi was born in Karachi, Pakistan, on 30 July 1989 (age 32 as of 2021). She is a Leo. Yumna comes from a village in Pakistan’s Pakpattan district called Arifwala Tehsil.
Education
She completed her primary education in Lahore at Sacred Heart Convent School. She enrolled in the University of Home Economics, Lahore, to study Masters in Arts, Design & Architecture there. Almost immediately after completing her Masters, she moved to the United States with her family.

Acting Career
In 2012, Yumna Zaidi began her career as an actress by playing Mehak in the ARY Digital drama ‘Thakan’.
The audience so well received the role of Mehak that Yumna was offered to play the leading role in ARY Digital’s melodrama entitled “Khushi Ek Roag” as Aabroo. In ‘Teri Raah Main Rul Gai’ Urdu 1, Yumna Zaidi portrayed Maryam. She earned her first Hum Award nominations for her roles in the Geo TV show Meri Dulari and the Hum TV series Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi in 2013, for which she played emotionally charged characters.
- She gained popularity for her portrayal of a troubled wife in Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se, which earned her the Hum Award for Best Actress and Best Actress Popular nominations.
