Early Life
Her mother is a Rajput woman and her father is a Maratha. She grew up in many places, including Panchgani, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi, as her mother worked in a cosmetics company. Nagarkar, who comes from a family of doctors, originally aspired to become a cardiologist, but later became a model and actor.
Career
With Hora Hori (2015), directed by Teja, Daksha Nagarkar made her acting debut. Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu wrote: “Daksha has a reasonably good screen presence and shows promise.” Since the film was in production, Nagarkar was unable to attend her first year final exams. After taking a break from film, she decided to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
