Early Life
Her secondary education was at Allen Glen High School, and she pursued her higher education at the University of Johannesburg. At the University of Johannesburg, Phongolo studied Strategic Marketing Communications.
Career
She landed her first acting role in 2012 when she portrayed Zama in Tshisha on SABC 1. She joined Craze-e, a youth program on e.tv, in 2013.
In 2014, she landed a role on Generations as Namhla. Her character was a 17-year-old secondary school student whose mother is an ex-convict.
