Segilola Ogidan is a Nigerian actress and producer best known for her role as Tonye in The Men’s Club.
In Nigeria, she was born in Arigidi Akoko to parents from Ondo State. Her Father wanted her to become a Medical Doctor, but she couldn’t because she hated hospitals and couldn’t stand blood. The roles she took in church plays sparked her passion for acting as a Christian.

Career
She began her career when she decided to train professionally for a career in film. She then did numerous internships before getting a job as a development executive at a film sales and distribution company in London. In 2009, she landed a role on a television series for a year, as well as doing several huge theatre films. Since then, she has produced a lot of movies and has acted in quite a few of them.

Segulola attended Laurel Nursery and Primary School in Isolo, Lagos for her elementary education. For secondary school, she attended Vivian Fowler School for Girls in Surulere, Lagos. After moving to London, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts at Royal Holloway University, London, and a Masters in Cinema Studies from the University of Bristol, UK, where she majored in Screen Writing.
