Early Life
Lele Pons was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on June 25, 1996. Luis Pons and Anna Maronese are her parents. Pons’ father is an architect, and her mother is a doctor. In spite of the fact that Lele Pons was born in Caracas, her family made the journey to the U.S. when she was only five years old.
Lele Pons graduated from Miami Country Day High School in 2015 and moved to Los Angeles. Pons is of Catalan and Italian descent. She is fluent in Spanish and English, despite being a native Spanish speaker.
Career
When Lele Pons was 16, a friend introduced her to Vine, a six-second video-sharing app. A fellow Viner, Jerome Jarre, motivated her to continue making videos. Her videos were in the comedy genre. Even she played pranks on her family and friends. With such an overwhelming response, she became the first Viner to reach one billion video loops. It was she who came up with the tagline, “Do it for Vine.”
After the Vine app culminated, she started off on Youtube. Over six million people subscribe to her YouTube channel, which she launched with Shots Studio in 2016.
In 2016, Lele Pons’ career took a leap forward. In addition, she appeared in her show “Scream,” an American horror show. She also played “The Hustler” in Joey Graceffa’s YouTube Red series, Escape the Night.
