Itziar Ituño was born on 18th June 1974 in Basauri, Spain and has emerged as one of the most talented Spanish actresses today. The character of Raquel Murrilo was portrayed by 45-year-old Spanish actress Itziar, and this portrayal turned her life around and gave her worldwide fame. Since her childhood she was interested in acting thus got coaching of acting from a local theatre school. In spite of her mother tongue Spanish, she had to learn Basque language at the age of 19 to play the first role of her career on television.

In 2017, she received widespread recognition and acclaim for her role in the Money Heist AKA La Casa Da Papel. She made her first appearance in 1997 and she spent almost 22 years as an actress .
