A former internet personality and image consultant , Kevin Roshon Samuels was born on May 5, 2022 . Based on his YouTube and Instagram live streams discussing modern society and relationships, he became popular in 2020.

Early Life

In Oklahoma City, Kevin Samuels was born. As a 21-year-old with cancer, he attended Millwood High School and studied chemical engineering at the University of Oklahoma . Since 2013, Samuels has been building his own image-consulting company. According to the New York Times, he cultivated an image as a plain-spoken, hypermasculine authority who promoted “strict gender roles” in which men assumed dominance.  A guest appearance on VladTV and interviews with Nicki Minaj and T.I. gained him recognition in mainstream Hip-Hop culture.

Career

As a therapist and dating coach, Samuels appeared in a music video for Future’s single “Worst Day” in February 2022. Additionally, he interviewed Instagram models like Brittany Renner and reality TV stars like Tommie Lee. There were several prominent guests who supported his work, including Minaj, Marlon Wayans, and Tamar Braxton.

The majority of Samuels’ viewers were black, with a small percentage of whites and other minorities. Some of his comments about men and women were controversial . His criticism of women was based on their dress size, height, and weight. According to him, some women have unrealistically high standards for the types of men they should date, while some men are poor or overweight. In addition, he strongly criticized the black community for failing to uphold traditional values. His critics called him a misogynist and a member of the Black manosphere, but his supporters called him an advocate for “traditional values”.

Aside from his image consulting company, Kevin Samuels, founded in January 2013, Samuels is also a life & style consultant.

At Office Depot, a retail company, Samuels began his professional career as a Business Development Manager.
