Early Life
Newton grew up in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. Lauren is his younger sister. In 2006, their mother Michelle remarried after her divorce. Northbrook College Sussex (now Greater Brighton Metropolitan College) was Newton’s college of choice. With Oli Reynolds (then Evans), Joel Baylis, and Henry Tredinnick, he formed South 4. After graduating from the London School of Musical Theatre, he went on to train at the Broadway Dance School.
Career
Newton starred as Ben Evans in the Disney Channel series The Lodge from 2016 to 2017. Besides appearing on the series, he was also featured on the two soundtrack albums. As Billy, he appeared in the Syfy television film Lake Placid: Legacy in 2018. He will star in the Netflix series Bridgerton as Colin Bridgerton in 2020.
